For tramway enthusiasts who only think that Venice has gondolas and vaporettos to offer, Frank Bagshaw sends us this photo of one of the LOHRS vehicles (they are referred to as trams) that run from Mestre across the causeway to Venice. Frank rode the route at the weekend and reports the vehicles are very noisy and it's difficult to hold a conversation when they are travelling.

CRICH TRAM DAY AND PORTO COAL CAR 65 ON SATURDAY 10 SEPTEMBER 2016
A very busy tram service on Saturday including a few journeys by Porto 273, but the star attraction was the first appearance in daylight for many years of Porto Coal Car 65 prior to leaving for its new home at Beamish.
