Stone Blocks

By Wednesday morning all of the track to be replaced had been lifted and the next job is to dig down for the new track foundations. The JCB soon uncovered a number of stone blocks that were used to fasten the track on the original mineral railway. These were moved from the construction site for examination and sure enough a piece of the old track from the Library fitted.
