Odessa Monday (1)


Today we visited the main depot which, as is often the case in the former USSR, has a small museum. This is the first time I have seen a picture of 'uncle Joe' Stalin in one of these museums.
The open sided tourist tram was being prepared for the season. It is based on a 50s MTV82.
The interior and cab of a modernised T3. Note the absence of floor traps and that the pedal controls have been retained.
It was Peter Bannister's funeral today. Kath and I had a quiet moment together to remember him.Posted by Picasa
