A fellow tram conductor

We rode on Stockport 5 and the conductor, Martin, introduced himself as a reader of this blog. I was flattered. We enjoyed our day at Heaton Park and look forward to visiting again when it is less busy one day next year. In the meantime please send me some pictures during the winter. Thanks.

How wonderful it is to see the Tramway so well represented on the blog - thank you Richard. We are all avid readers (I was so busy I didn't get chance to say hello but I shall make sure I do next time you visit)and on such a busy day with our Trams doing what they were meant to do. It is a pleasure for all the staff to see so many people clearly enjoying themselves - it makes everything worthwhile!

  2. Hi Richard

It was nice to meet you on Sunday and I am glad you enjoyed your day at the park.
A lot of our staff regularly take pictures of the goings on at the park so we will try to keep you well supplied over the winter and look forward to seeing you again next year.

    Martin
