DALLAS McKINNEY AVENUE ON 27 OCTOBER 2013 - Martin Miller

Dallas 186 - withdrawn in 1956 and now mounted on ex Melbourne Type B trucks - The Green Dragon

Pictures of the McKinney Avenue Transit Authority in Dallas. It is a free service developed to regenerate an area of the City and appears to be funded by the shops and restaurants along the route. At the north end the line ends at the Uptown Station Turntable (recently installed to facilitate single end cars to be operated in the future) with the south presently ending a St Paul. Works are quite advanced for a Down Town loop returning from St Paul via Olive Street. We were fortunate that the line had reopened after a period of closure to allow the pointwork into Olive Street to be installed. Visited Sunday 27th October 2013.
Porto 122 built in 1909 by Brill and now named "Rosie"

Toronto 4514 in the Car Barn, one of two Toronto vehicles, that can be used when the Down Town loop is completed and a lot of tlc expended upon it
