CRICH 60 - NAMING OF CROYDON WORKS CAR - 7 NOVEMBER 2015

As part of the Crich 60 celebrations, the Croydon Works car was named John Gardner, in memory of John who was a long serving member of the Permanent Way department.  Although slightly disabled from cerebral palsy 'Wobbly John' as he was known, served many years as part of the gang and only gave up as his health deteriorated and he suffered a broken hip which limited his mobility.

CRICH AT HALLOWEEN 2015 - Hazel Quarmby

The tractors were from the Ashbourne and District Tractor Club, Woodies Wings were very popular all week, the yellow scary bus was going to Bournemouth, the pumpkin competition winner was on the top row with the smaller pumpkin in its mouth and I think the David Tennant Dr Who look-alike was wondering where in the Universe the Tardis had landed!!!
