CRICH 60 - NAMING OF CROYDON WORKS CAR - 7 NOVEMBER 2015

As part of the Crich 60 celebrations, the Croydon Works car was named John Gardner, in memory of John who was a long serving member of the Permanent Way department.  Although slightly disabled from cerebral palsy 'Wobbly John' as he was known, served many years as part of the gang and only gave up as his health deteriorated and he suffered a broken hip which limited his mobility.
