WIRKSWORTH & DISTRICT TRAMWAY COMPANY 13 JULY 2016 - Martin Miller

The first vehicle in our proposed fleet arrived today.
The first vehicle for this start up company arrived today and will eventually provide smooth and regular transit between Wirksworth Station and The Malt Shovel.

Former Blackpool Brush Railcoach 636 arrives at Wirksworth for tests under the mytesttrack.com banner.
You have to say it's a funny old world with a 1934 tram turning up at an enterprise that has only been 16 years in the making - shades of attempts to use a similar vehicle on the Hayling Island branch. It was driven off the load loader and should be quite an attraction for the Railway during its time with us.
