Vienna Sunday (3)


There are some sections of single track on narrow streets. These pictures also show how low the new ULF (ultra low floor) trams are. They are 100% low floor and have no axles. The motors are mounted vertically in the wide body panels which are above the wheels.

As far as I could see all routes are operated by a mixture of high and low floor trams and the real time information system has a wheelchair symbol when a low floor car is expected.
