902, a bit of a white elephant, not a proper pcc equivalent and not suitable for intended use as an access tram. What's happened to the project for a 2nd acces tram and what's going to happen to 902?
902 uses PCC equipment like all Tatra T3 and T4s . It is suitable as access tram but the amount of work required is greater than anticipated. Door height is a problem, but a solution to a similar problem was developed in Germany (again!) in the 1970s to allow cars with low doors to stop at high platforms, see http://www.railfaneurope.net/pix/de/trams/Hannover/historic/blumenba.jpg
