Sheffield 15

I called in at the Museum yesterday afternoon during the Edwardian Weekend. Blackpool & Fleetwood 2, Chesterfield 7, Jo'burg 60, LCC 106 and Sheffield 15 were in service.

Incidentally the ride yesterday was considerably longer than in the heyday of the horse car in 1963 when this was the northern terminus.
I have cropped these pictures to minimise the intrusion of unsightly overhead wires.Posted by Picasa

  1. I am very glad to see that LCC 106 is back in service, and the photo of it on the top of your blog with Chesterfield 7 is great! Apart from the very strange conductor on 7... lol
Some fantastic photos of Sheffield 15 as well :-)

  2. Indeed, the picture of 106 plus 7 is a PR bulls eye!
Regarding the rain that didn't come: if you had taken out 166, it most certainly would have rained.
Nevertheless, 812 is a marvellous tram, very typical of the traditional British tram. How about repainting 869 into Glasgow 1055 when it is next due for a repaint?
