A delegation from Blackpool visited Crich yesterday to see the peparations being made for visiting trams. Blackpool 40 being fitted with a fixed head trolley wheel.
J'burg 60 has been fitted with a fixed head trolley wheel and the lattice gates have been removed from the platforms.
It is being driven by a Blackpool driver.
An old friend Chris Radciffe was with the Blackpool delegation. Incidentally Chris drove Blackpool 712 on its last day in service prior to being withdrawn for repainting as 249.
